Caring for your jewellery:
Sterling Silver is a metal that contains a minimum 92.5% Silver. Pure silver is impractical for the manufacture of jewellery as it is too soft in its purest form and is therefore mixed with other metals to improve its strength and durability. These metals, often copper, become oxidised over time when exposed to air and humid conditions and this causes Sterling Silver to tarnish with time and wear.
We recommend the following steps to care for your Sterling Silver jewellery:
Remove jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming etc.
Store your jewellery in its original box or a jewellery box in a cool dry place when not in use.
Polish frequently with a soft dry cloth
If your jewellery becomes tarnished, use a silver polishing cloth the return the item to its original shine.
To clean gemstones:
To return gemstones to their beautiful natural sparkle we recommend gently cleaning them with warm water and dish soap / washing up liquid on a soft cloth or brush.
